Find all the answers to your questions about the energy audit for property sales.
The EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) is a simple assessment that gives a rating (A to G). The energy audit is a detailed action plan. To sell a property rated E, F or G, the energy audit is mandatory in addition to the EPC, as it precisely calculates the work required to exit thermal sieve status.
The audit is performed by a certified auditor (e.g. RGE / OPQIBI 1911 for single-family homes) from our partner network. AEV handles the intermediation, booking and secure payment. An integrated chat allows you to communicate directly with the auditor for any questions.
Booking is simple and fast (2 minutes): 1. Enter the property address (house, single-owner property or apartment). 2. Choose a date and time. 3. Confirm your information (the price is displayed immediately). 4. Secure payment.
The charge is made upon payment validation (3-D Secure if necessary). You immediately receive a confirmation email summarizing your order and your rights (withdrawal and cancellation). Refunds in accordance with our policy are triggered automatically.
• Auditor contact: within 24-48 hours after booking • On-site visit: a few days later, depending on availability and area • Audit report: generally delivered within 3 to 5 working days after the visit (excluding missing documents).
How is the report delivered? The report is delivered in PDF format, dated and signed, compliant with legal requirements for the sale. It is accessible from your personal space and can be sent directly to the real estate agency or notary.
Yes, for certain properties. It is a comprehensive examination of your property's performance, mandatory for the sale of thermal sieves (properties rated E, F or G) since 2023 and E-rated properties since 2025. It provides costed renovation scenarios to inform the buyer.
